A calm, playful space that children actually enjoy visiting.
Children's dental experiences shape their relationship with oral care for life. Our approach is unhurried, transparent, and designed for small patients who need to feel in control. We explain every step to the child before doing it. Parents are always welcome in the room. We keep the environment calm — no frightening sounds, no surprises.
Who is this for?For children from their first tooth (around 12 months) through to age 16. Particularly recommended for children who have had negative dental experiences elsewhere, anxious children, and toddlers and infants for first-visit orientation.
We introduce the child to the chair, the light, and the instruments at their own pace. No treatment on the first visit for anxious children.
Systematic check of teeth, gums, bite, and developing jaw. Parent included throughout.
Fluoride application and fissure sealants where appropriate. Explained to child first.
Detailed home-care coaching for the parent: brushing technique, diet advice, first toothbrush timing.
We agree the recall interval together, typically every 6 months.
When their first tooth appears, or by their first birthday — whichever comes first. Early visits normalise dental care and help us catch any development concerns early.
Yes. We have specific protocols for anxious children. For very high anxiety we can do a familiarisation visit with no treatment at all — just to meet the team and sit in the chair.
We manage the large majority of children's treatment under local anaesthetic. General anaesthesia is a last resort and would require referral to a hospital setting.
