A dental implant is the closest thing to a natural tooth that modern dentistry can offer. A titanium fixture integrates with your jawbone over 3–6 months, then receives a custom ceramic crown that matches your surrounding teeth in colour and shape. Done well, an implant is indistinguishable from the teeth around it — and lasts a lifetime with normal care.
Who is this for?Suitable for adults with one or more missing teeth, healthy gums, and sufficient jawbone density. Not suitable during pregnancy or for uncontrolled diabetics. A CT scan assessment is required before treatment begins.
Full cone beam scan to assess bone volume, density, and anatomy. We design the implant position digitally.
Minor surgical procedure under local anaesthetic. The titanium fixture is placed and a healing cap fitted. Typically 45–60 minutes.
3–6 month healing period while the implant fuses with the bone. A temporary crown keeps the gap covered.
Impressions or digital scan taken. Custom ceramic crown fabricated and fitted. Colour and shape matched to your natural teeth.
Implants are checked at every routine visit. With normal oral hygiene they last decades.
The procedure is done under local anaesthetic — you feel pressure but no pain. Mild soreness for 2–3 days afterwards is normal and managed with standard pain relief.
From first scan to final crown: 4–8 months. The waiting period is biological — the bone needs time to fuse. The active chair time across all visits is only a few hours total.
In some cases a bone graft is needed before implant placement. We assess this at the CT scan stage and discuss options clearly before any treatment begins.
